Mercado Campesino and Casa Origen are projects that provide economic sustainability. When choosing Casa Origen, you are supporting our transformative social, educational and environmental programs, which in turn benefit children, young people and adults.
The services of our foundation are characterized by their family environment and natural cuisine. All products are grown in our organic vegetable gardens and elaborated by hand by our chefs (bread, cheese, vegetables, patés, eggs, honey, jelly, pastries…). 100% of the market’s utilities go to benefit our social and environmental programs.
In Mercado Campesino Origen you will find our agroecological production, as well as other local and national products, organic products and handcrafts,
It is a trading space that aims at closing the gap between producer and consumer, benefiting the former’s gain and restoring social bonds. Through fair trade, it seeks to support the business of small producers who are committed to sustainable practices.
We encourage healthy eating that cares for people, animals and the planet.
- The famous Origen Cheese is handcrafted with the milk of our goats. Origen “manjar” is made out of the milk of our cows.
- Blue eggs come from mapuche hens in our farm. They are fed only with natural products.
- Our bread is made daily from wheat flour agroecologically produced in our Río Claro Campus. Free of additives, the wheat is grinded in an old, artisanal mill.

- Origen Honey comes from our hives in Pirque and Río Claro. Support our campaign to salve the bees!
- Vegetables and herbs found in the market are harvested daily in our agroecological orchards. You can’t find anything fresher or healthier! Try our salads.
- Our French-and-Chilean style sweets and pastries are made from first quality products.
